We must not underestimate DRC - Gradel

Ivory Coast striker Max Gradel says his team must guard against underestimating semifinal opponents Democratic Republic Congo.
The Elephants face the Leopards on Wednesday night in the first semifinal of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Bata.
Ivory Coast qualified for the last four after an efficient 3-1 win over Algeria on Sunday.
“We are happy. We had faith in ourselves to seal the qualification. It is still a long way to go. We must not become euphoric and focus on the next game which won’t be a walk in the park," Gradel said.
Wednesday's semifinal meeting will be the two sides’ third in five months after Ivory Coast beat DR Congo 2-1 away and lost 4-3 at home in Abidjan in a 2015 Afcon qualifier.
Gradel, who scored in the first leg win in Kinshasa in October, has been one of Ivory Coast's star players at this year’s tournament, scoring two goals.
“I remain very focused on the competition. I hope I will continue to bring my contribution and my determination to help the team go all the way at this Afcon," Gradel said.
