Addo bemoans Hearts’ firing power

Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo has lamented his side’s poor conversion rate after 11 matches in the FCPPL.
The experienced coach is at a loss as to how his players have been wasteful in front of goal throughout the campaign despite much work going into improving the situation at the training grounds.
It was a repeat of the trend on Sunday as Hearts squandered so many scoring opportunities before put visiting BA United to the sword with two headed goals by striker Gilbert Fiamenyo at the Accra Stadium.
Addo feels alarmed by the unchanging situation despite committing all efforts into correcting it.
”I analyse the scoring ability of my boys all the time. Every game we play we create approximately the same number of scoring chances and end up wasting a lot of them,” he said at a post-match press conference.
”This is the 11th game we have played and yet nothing seems to be changing. We have a lot of games to play in the Confederation Cup, the league and the FA Cup, I am praying that they get used to scoring.
“We are not scoring even 50% of the chances we create. It is not hard luck but rather lack of concentration on their part.”
Hearts of Oak have scored a total of 14 goals so far from seven different scorers with Fiamenyo leading the overall pack with eight goals.
