Chiefs’ date for Raja rematch announced

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the date and kick-off time for the return leg of their CAF Champions League second round tie against Moroccan side Raja Casablanca.
The match in north Africa will be played on Sunday, April 5, with kick-off at 9pm South African time.
Chiefs must overcome a 1-0 deficit from the first leg, which they largely dominated in terms of chances in Durban, but failed to find the back of the net.
Chiefs have never won in north Africa in the Champions League competition, losing to 1-0 to Egyptian side Zamalek in 1993 and 4-0 to Tunisian giants Esperance 12 years later.
They did claim success against Club Africain, also from Tunisia, on their way to winning the 2001 African Cup Winners’ Cup trophy.
Mamelodi Sundowns head to DR Congo to face TP Mazembe the same weekend and hold a slender 1-0 advantage from the home leg.
