Imenger banks on continuity for Lobi

Lobi Stars General Manager, Barnabas Imenger, believes the decision to retain the bulk of players who competed last term will boost continuity in the new season.
A statement from the Makurdi based club’s Twitter Account: @LobiStars revealed that no fewer than 20 players will be retained ahead of the new football season.
“We had a shaky outing in the first round of the league, but improved in the second round.
“Our plan is to build on the second round performance and continue from where we stopped last term”, he said to SuperSport.com.
Former Bayelsa United forward, Uche Ihuarulam, former Nembe City defender, Samson Gbadebo, former Mighty Jets forward, Uche Ilo, goalkeeper Adeniyi Oguntoye, and Niger Tornadoes youth prodigy, Umar Mohammed, were some of the players who strengthened the team during the second round.
