Ghana had its first training session at the pre-Afcon camping in Seville without two players.
Andre Ayew and Jeffery Schlupp are yet to join the side in the south of Spain as they took to the field on Monday evening.
24 players were supervised by Avram Grant and assistant Maxwell Konadu on the first of the 10 day retinue.
Spain-based Goalkeeper Razak Braimah was first to arrive in the team’s camp after playing in a league match for his side Mirandes in the second-tier league.
The team leaves Seville on January 14 for Equatorial Guinea before facing Senegal five days later in their first Group C game.
