Solomon gets Flying Eagles call

Flying Eagles head coach, Manu Garba, has handed Croatia-based Theophilus Solomon an invitation to the team as they prepare for the Africa Youth Championship (AYC) in March.
The 18-year-old, who is on to loan to NK Zadar from HNK Rijeka, will team up with Flying Eagles currently training at the main bowl of the Ahmadu Bello Stadum in Kaduna.
Garba has called up 10 overseas-based players thus far with the Manchester City duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Chidiebere Nwakali as well as Musa Yahaya of Totttenham Hotspur among the invited.
Solomon can play as a winger or striker and was part of the Flying Eagles training camp in Germany under John Obuh prior to the 2013 Under-20 World Cup in Turkey.
The 2015 Africa Youth Championship will take place in Senegal from March 8 and Nigeria are in Group A alongside hosts Senegal, Congo and Ivory Coast.
