Although Majeed Waris is injured, sources say Ghana will take the forward to the 2015 Afcon.
Ghana boss Avram Grant dropped five players from his aforenamed 31-man squad from the Yuletide as a 26-man Black Stars setup leaves for Spain on Sunday.
The crocked Waris is not part of the list going to the Seville training camp, but team sources say Grant will wait until the last minute before dropping the striker.
In fact, with Ghana's first tournament game being on January 19 with Senegal, Trabzonspor have assured Ghana's medical team that the player will be fit enough for that game.
This means Grant could well add Waris to his final list to Caf that must be submitted by January 7.
