Dolphins woo Oriaku

One of Nigeria's representatives at next season's CAF Confederation Cup, Dolphins are closing in on a move for Rangers centre-back, Cyril Oriaku.
Last season's Federation Cup finalists believe that the 25-year-old will strengthen their back line as the league resumes in a fortnight.
Stanley Eguma already has four senior centre-backs but wants to bring the hard tackling defender back to his former club, Dolphins.
Weeks ago, the Rangers skipper had rubbished claims that he was on his way out of Rangers but news emanating from Rangers sources confirm that the transfer is near completion.
Oriaku took over the captain's armband last season when Godwin Ayalogu and Chibuzor Madu left for Sunshine Stars and Enyimba respectively. He formed an enviable partnership with Senegalese Ousmane Pape Sane at the heart of the Rangers defence but the return of Chibuzor Madu after a poor stint with Enyimba could see the former vice captain regain his place beside Sane.
However, if the deal is successful, Oriaku will be unable to play for Dolphins at the CAF Confederation Cup as clubs have long completed their registration of players for the competition.
