Sumaila loaned to Al Qadsia

Mamelodi Sundowns' Rashid Sumaila has arrived in Kuwait to seal a loan move to Al Qadsia Sports Club.
Sundowns, on 6 January, activated their call-back clause in a season-long free loan agreement with Asante Kotoko for the Ghanaian international to return to South Africa.
It was unclear, the motives behind the Brazilians’ decision to cut short Sumaila’s loan spell in Ghana as the club had already exhausted its foreign quota for the current South African football season.
But Sumaila, 22, after resuming training with the Sundowns first team this week, has had a loan agreement reached for him to spend the next five months with 2013/14 Kuwaiti Premier League champions for an unspecified fee.
Supersport.com sources reveal the hard tackling centre-back flew out of South Africa on Wednesday and will put pen to paper for a five-month stay upon successful medicals on Friday.
