Ekramy out of Zamalek clash

Al Ahly goalkeeper Sherif Ekramy has announced that he may not play the Egyptian derby against Zamalek for family reasons.
The two Egyptian clubs, Al Ahly and Zamalek, will meet in a Premier League match on Thursday, 29 January in Cairo.
"I think I will not play the derby against Zamalek this month. My daughter Asia, seven months old, has a problem in her heart and she needs surgery as soon as possible. We will travel to England where she will have the surgery," Ekramy told supersport.com.
Ekramy is not the first player to miss the big match. Al Ahly announced that team captain Hossam Ghaly and starlet Mohamed Hany will also miss the match against Zamalek due to injuries.
Also Al Ahly winger Hussain Al Sayed will not participate in the game after the Egyptian Football Association's decision to ban him for four games after he assaulted a Petrojet player in Tuesday's league match.
Al Ahly will now depend on goalkeeper Mosad Awad to cover for the absent Ekramy next Thursday.
Zamalek are the league leaders with 40 points, while Al Ahly are in fourth place with 29 points.
