Celtic take aim at SuperSport

Bloemfontein Celtic coach Clinton Larsen has made it clear that he is going to treat their Absa Premiership match against SuperSport United on Wednesday night just like any other match.
Kick off for this clash is at 7.30pm at Free State stadium.
This comes after Celtic claimed their third successive win when beat Bidvest Wits 1-0 in Johannesburg on Friday night.
The Bloemfontein side has claimed 16 points from 10 home matches this season. Since the return of Clinton Larsen the club has not conceded a goal in 2015 and Larsen says this was one of the goals that he had set for himself this year.
“We are on the right track and one of the positives is that we have not conceded a goal this year, and that makes me proud of my boys because that is what we had discussed and worked towards,” said Larsen.
Going to the game against SuperSport United, Larsen said the preparations have gone well and they will treat this match just like any other match.
“We are going to treat this match just like any other match although we are happy that some players will be coming back from injuries and that should give us a boost. We want to continue on a winning run and that can be achieved if we keep on working hard as a team and allow players to be free,” said Larsen.
Phunya Sele Sele are placed sixth on the Absa Premiership log with 30 points from 21 matches and Larsen said their aim is to make sure that teams fear playing them at home.
“One of the mandates is to make sure that we come difficult to beat at home. When teams are playing against us any place near the Free State they must think twice. So far we have achieved that and we hope that home advantage will also play a big role against SuperSport United,” said Larsen.
SuperSport suffered a second successive league loss when they went down 2-1 at home to Ajax Cape Town on Saturday.
The Tshwane side has claimed 13 points from nine away matches this season and is placed ninth on the Absa Premiership log with 27 points from 21 matches.
Attacking midfielder Dove Wome said there is pressure on them, but that is the price they pay for working extremely hard to get the respect back after not having a good start to the season.
“We may have dropped down the log after two defeats but we could be right back up there again if we win on Wednesday night.
"I am really confident in the team. This is a speed-bump and I am sure we will be back on track. Everyone had us written off after our start in the league, but we showed what was possible there. It is about belief and sticking together.
"These periods are tricky and the guys will have to dig deep. We are away from home and that makes a big difference,” Wome said.
Playing against Bloemfontein Celtic at home has never been easy as they always have their fans in numbers supporting them. But Wome said they are willing to go all out despite the Celtic fans.
“The crowd in Bloemfontein has been right behind their team this season and we intend to give them a run for their money and showcase what a strong team we are."
When the teams met earlier this season, goals from Dino Ndlovu, Thato Mokeke and Clayton Daniels took Matsatsantsa to a 3-0 home win.
