Roan United stick with Kabole

Demoted Roan United have decided to stick with veteran coach Fordson Kabole.
Kabole failed to save Roan from demotion in his five games in charge at the end of the 2014 Faz Super League season.
He took over in late October from Dean Mwiinde who had been in charge for only four months but failed to lift Roan out of the relegation zone after picking up five draws and four defeats from his nine games in charge.
Roan chairperson Chisoni Miti said the Luanshya-based club has a lot of confidence in Kabole to guide Roan back to the FAZ Super League at the end of the 2015 season.
Roan were relegated last November to end an eight-year stay in the Faz Super League.
“We have actually engaged him on a one year contract, subject to renewal depending on his performance,” Miti said.
“We are on course and preparing adequately for the new season.”
Roan finished bottom of the FAZ Super League table last year and won one, drew one and lost three under Kabole.
Meanwhile, Kabole had prior to joining Roan in October coached DR Congo club Don Bosco, Power Dynamos and Nchanga Rangers and had another foreign stint at Zimbabwean champions Dynamos.
