Ghaly eyes strong start at APR

Al Ahly captain Hossam Ghaly has assured that they will play for a convincing win against Rwanda's APR in the Caf Champions League first leg, round of 32 this Saturday.
Ghaly said though Al Ahly are aiming for a strong start, they still have respect for the Rwandan club despite being underdogs over the two-legged fixture.
The Al Ahly captain also believes that it is wrong to refer to APR as a small team.
"The matches in this stage are not easy so we will be careful against them. They are not a small team and they will be motivated. But we seek a strong start in this year's Champions League," Ghaly told supersport.com.
"I talked with all my teammates and they are ready for the clash. They want to win the title for the ninth time."
Al Ahly head coach Juan Carols Garrido has named a 20-man squad that will travel to Rwanda for the clash.
A few stellar names like Mohamed Nagy Gedo and Ahmed Abdul Zaher are missing from the Al Ahly squad.
A club official, Alaa Abdel Sadek, said: "Garrido picked 20 players, but Gedo, just back from injury is not in the team as we don't want to risk him. Abdel Zaher is sick and didn't train in the past days."
The Cairo-based team will hold two training sessions in Rwanda on Thursday and Friday before their Champions League clash against APR
