Al Ahly braced for Kigali trip

Al Ahly director Wael Gomaa has stated that they are prepared to face their Caf Champions League opponents APR FC of Rwanda in Kigali on March 14.
Gomaa said Caf has informed them of the date and they plan to arrive in Kigali 48 hours before the round of 32 first leg to allow them to settle down.
"Caf informed us that APR picked March 14 as date for the game and we are ready," Gomaa told supersport.com.
"We will travel there two days before the game to adapt to the atmosphere there and we hope to be in top form in front of them.
"We talked with the Egyptian Football Association to play the second leg of the round of 32 at the Cairo International Stadium and we hope they accept that."
The EFA has already refused the request from Zamalek to play their Caf Confederation Cup match in the capital for security concerns.
The Egyptian league has been suspended since February 8 when 22 Zamalek fans were killed before their match against ENPPI SC.
The top flight in Egypt is now expected to restart on March 22.
