Audu set for Kwara United debut

ABS legend Akeem Audu is set to make his debut for Kwara United in the Glo Premier League.
Audu switched to neighbours, Kwara United after spending a season in the Nigeria National League (NNL) with relegated ABS.
“I’m pleased to join Kwara United after eight years at ABS in different divisions. Kwara United is one of the top sides in Nigeria,” Audu told supersport.com on the eve of his debut.
The striker now has all the time to focus on football after completing his degree in Educational Management at the University of Ilorin.
“It’s interesting to be in the league as a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). I remember my former teammate, Fade Adebayo, participated in the scheme as a footballer,” Audu said to supersport.com.
Audu, who joined ABS eight years ago, is one of the few players who have played in four different divisions of Nigeria’s football league structure in the modern era.
Kwara United make their return to the Premier League with a road trip at former champions, Dolphins, on Saturday.
