The Prince will stay, says Schalke

Schalke chief Horst Heldt says there has not been the thought of ending midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng’s contract.
Amidst consistent reports claiming that the club has lost interest in continuing with the suspended Ghana international, the Royal Blues’ Sporting Director says both parties have not pondered the possibility of a premature termination of the contract which runs out in 18 months.
“There are no signals from either Schalke 04 or Kevin-Prince Boateng to want to end our contract prematurely. There are also no inquiries from other clubs, so we have not dealt with the subject.”
”He has one more year on his contract, and I can assure that from both parties there is not the intention of an earlier departure,” Heldt said.
Boateng who just turned 28, has already been linked to some European big wigs including Inter, Juventus and very recently, Arsenal.
