Uche scores winner for Levante

Nigerian attacking midfielder, Kalu Uche scored the winner for Levante on Friday in the 2-1 success over Eibar on match day 26 of the Primera División.
The game decided at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia began in the worst possible fashion for the home side as Saúl Berjón gave the visitors the lead in the 55th minute.
Ten minutes later, Levante were back on level terms as David Barral scored following a moment of brilliance from teammate, Antonio “Toño” Aranda.
Uche then got in on the act in the 67th minute, profiting from keystone cops defending by the Eibar rear guard.
The Nigerian and Barral are fast forming a lethal partnership upfront for Levante as they have provided eight of Les Granotes’ last ten league goals this season.
Uche has scored three goals in six league games for Levante and is underlining his status as a respected marksman in the Liga.
Friday’s win lifts Levante up to 16th in the Liga with 25 points from 26 matches.
