Eduok fires brace in Esperance win

Nigerian forward, Emem Eduok continues to lay down the marker in the Tunisian league 1 with time 26-time champions, Esperance.
Eduok scored twice as the Blood and Gold defeated Avenir de la Masar 3-1 on Thursday as the competition entered match day 21.
The former Dolphins FC man’s first goal, three minutes into first half stoppage time, temporarily leveled the scores after Maher Abidi had given the visitors the lead in the 17th minute at the Stade Olympique d'El Menzah.
With the game headed for a draw, Eduok produced a moment of magic via an audacious assist which teammate, Ahmed Akaichi plundered on the stroke on 90 minutes to give the hosts a 2-1 lead.
Two minutes into stoppage time, Eduok made sure of the points with his second goal of the night to send the fans into raptures.
The 21-year-old has now scored three league goals in five matches for Esperance this season.
Thursday’s win pushed Esperance up to third on the league standings with 40 points from 21 matches, three points adrift of the leaders, Club Africain.
