Obiozor insists on Pillars’ exit

There are strong indications that Nigerian international, Christian Obiozor, will not return to perennial champions, Kano Pillars.
Obiozor’s move to Pillars was well celebrated in January and the striker has scored six goals to emerge as the club’s leading scorer in all competitions.
With four goals after five matches during the Super Six, Pillars headed for a tour of Ghana, where Obiozor scored one goal in two matches and he was also on target in their 2-0 away win at South Sudan side, Al-Malakia.
“Pillars can’t force Obiozor to return because he doesn’t want to play for the club anymore. The Kano side didn’t adhere to agreement with Obiozor’s representatives.
“We expect officials of Pillars to tell the truth since they know the reason he left rather than tarnish the image of our player.
"Obiozor is a professional and Pillars can't fault his dedication to duty. The fact that he is the club's top scorer with six goals in all competitions underscores his service to Pillars,” a source close to the player revealed to supersport.com.
The Kano side have since travelled to Morocco for their postponed Caf Champions League first round clash against Moghreb Athletic de Tetouan without the influential striker.
