Flying Eagles weakness exposed - Kone

After qualifying to the final of the 2015 African U-20 Championship on Thursday, Senegal coach and players are turning their attention to Nigeria, who they will be meeting on Sunday.
Moussa Kone, who scored the junior Teranga Lions’ two goals against Mali in the semi-final, is upbeat he can repeat the same form against the Flying Eagles to hand the hosts the trophy.
“The awe of the Nigerian team is dissipating because we are beginning to see some of their weaknesses and we believe they are not unbeatable,” Kone told supersport.com on Thursday.
“Ours is a new team without exposure and experience unlike the Flying Eagles. They have the tradition of youth tournaments and have been very successful. However, I can tell you that they are not as powerful as the media describe them.
“What I think they possess and keep exploiting over their adversaries is experience. They know how to manage time, strength and even the space on the field. However, we have better physical condition and speed. If we can put those together on Sunday, Nigeria would go home with silver,” he said.
Kone claims that his team will alter the predictions once again for the final as they did with their victory over Mali.
“Many people were prediction and rooting for Mali. They wrote us off. They said were too soft to be able to overcome a strong side like Mali. But we proved it.
“Now, they are saying the same for Nigeria. We will also prove them wrong come Sunday,” he said.
