MAT, Pillars face off in Tetouan

Moghreb Athletic de Tétouan (MAT) will host Nigerian champions, Kano Pillars, in the first leg of the round of 32 in the Caf Champions League this Saturday.
The match takes place at the Saniat Rmel in Tetouan after it was rescheduled by Caf following the armed robbery attack on Kano Pillars while travelling for a league match in Nigeriaby road earlier this month.
The robbery attack on the Nigerian club left five of their key players injured but two of those players, Reuben Ogbonnaya and Ubong Moses Ekpai, have now made the trip to Tetouan while Gambo Muhammed, Adamu Murtala and Eneji Otekpa are still recovering.
Moghreb Tetouan have appealed their fans to attend the game against Kano Pillars.
The MAT board are hoping the presence of their fans can motivate their players to produce a convincing win before the second leg in Kano which they expect to be tough.
The Moroccan club have already announced that their delegation will travel to Kano via a private plane.
