Express no underdogs – Bbosa

The war of words is well under way, with much of it coming from Wankulukuku – home of Express - as the Uganda Premier League (UPL) warms up to one of the more feisty derbies.
The Red Eagles welcome cross-town sworn rivals SC Villa in one of five UPL matches scheduled for Friday.
With Villa coming into this fixture in second place on 40 points, a massive 12 ahead of seventh-placed Express, the Jogoos have surely earned their favourites tag.
But Express coach Wasswa Bbosa refuses to buy that, insisting that they are anything but underdogs.
“In these games there are no underdogs,” he said, adding, “Even if we lost the previous game (against Villa in the first round and their last league outing against SCVU), that counts for nothing.
“You cannot tell fans that we are underdogs against Villa because they always expect positive results in such games.”
The Red Eagles coach also stole some breath for a little bit of mind games, if only for a moment.
“Most importantly I am hoping for good officiating because many people come to watch these games and it would be disappointing if the referee has a bad game.”
