Al Ittihad part ways with duo

Al Ittihad Tripoli have announced they have ended the contracts of their foreign duo of Yahaya Mohammed and Nuru Sulley.
The Libyan club claim that Yahaya and Suley refused to play the team's last match against Ivorian club, ASEC Mimosas, in the Caf Confederation Cup due to financial problems.
"The two players apologized to the board and the fans and we and them decided to end the contracts with them," Al Ittihad announced.
"We don't have any domestic football activities and we are out of the African Confederation Cup after we lost against ASEC so we and the two players decided to end the contracts."
The unrest in Libya has seen their top flight put on hold and top clubs in the country like Al Ittihad have had to play their African games in Tunis while they have housed their foreign contingent including Yahaya and Sulley outside of Libya.
