Cavin takes aim at ex-club SuperSport

Cavin Johnson will be in the spotlight when Platinum Stars host SuperSport United in an Absa Premiership encounter at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Kick-off is at 7:30pm.
The former Matsatsantsa boss returned to Dikwena last month in attempt to kick-start a faltering season for the Phokeng-based outfit who are not yet out of danger.
Johnson parted ways with SuperSport following a poor run of results, receiving the sack at the end of August last year.
Dikwena midfielder Patrick Malokase believes Johnson, like any player coming up against his former side, will be eager to prove a point and insists his knowledge of SuperSport will stand the club in good stead as they look to build on their 3-3 draw at Orlando Pirates last time out.
"Obviously we are not quite sure the relationship between the coach and SuperSport," said Malokase
"I can maybe relate with us players, most us us will give our absolute best when we come up against our former employers in an attempt to show our worth, prove that we are still a quality player or coach.
"Cavin is a quality coach and he knows the SuperSport players better and that could be a plus for us, give us an edge."
SuperSport claimed a second successive league win with their 1-0 victory at Maritzburg United earlier in the month.
United defender Thabo September insists their is no bad blood between the Capital coach and Johnson but admits the Dikwena boss will enjoy getting one over Gordon Igesund's troops.
"We are doing well so far this year, the team is playing well, not conceding goals which is great. We believe that we can go out there and get results, we know what we are capable of," said September.
"We now go up against our former coach, he knows how football works and I'm sure he will prepare his team for a competitive outing.
"We are all professionals and will focus on the job in hand. He [Johnson] will be happy to win the game that is for sure, but having said that, there is no animosity between the two parties, no bad feelings.
"We are going to enjoy our football and give the people a good game."
In head-to-head stats, Stars and SuperSport have met in 23 league matches since 2003/04.
Matsatsantsa have 11 wins compared to six for Dikwena, while six matches have been drawn.
Stars have won just two of their 11 home matches against United, suffering seven defeats in the process.
When the teams met earlier this season, a brace from Bradley Grobler inspired Matsatsantsa to a 3-1 home win.
