Algerian Football Federation has punished Union Sportive Médina d'Alger [USM] by ordering them to play their home game against city rivals, MC Alger, on April 25 behind closed doors.
The Algerian football body punished USM Alger following the misconduct of their fans in their last league match against MC El Eulma.
"The league Committee decided to punish USM with playing their next derby against MC Alger after their fans threw objects and fireworks into the pitch in their last game against MC El Eulma," the Algerian Football Federation announced.
USM are in third place in the Algerian league with 36 points and are five points behind league leaders, Entente Sportive de Sétif.
