Zamalek head coach, Jesualdo Ferreira, believes it is early days to start talking about winning the Egyptian Premier League.
The Giza-based club secured a 1-0 victory over Smouha on day 25 of the Egyptian league.
But Ferreira is refusing to be carried away by his team's impressive run in the league which has seen them open a 10-point lead over rivals, Al Ahly.
"I can see the media saying that we have won the league as the gap between us and our arch rivals, Al Ahly is now 10 points. Indeed I like this talk but there are a lot of matches to play and we aim to win all of them as we want to win the title," Ferreira said.
"My team didn't play very well [against Smouha], I know that and that happened because they did not take enough rest after they finished the camp with the Egyptian national team.
"Our win against Smouha was fair and came in the right time and I am happy with it because we deserved it."
Zamalek will play their next match against Fath Union Sport de Rabat of Morocco in the Caf Confederation Cup.
Ferreira's men currently top the Egyptian top flight with 51 points.
