Damba wants Kingson return

Former Ghana 'keeper Abukari Damba has joined growing calls for a Richard Kingson return.
Now featuring for Great Olympics, the veteran goalkeeper has impressed with his defensive command in the Ghana Premier League - although his clean sheet streak has been for just three games.
“I think it is a call in the right direction because we have not been unable to replace him in the team,” Damba says.
He also reasons: “But you have to look at the way the Black Stars is playing and tell if he is relevant and can contribute; and my call is yes.”
Richard is featuring for the club he long served in his youth before moving abroad, but the player himself has been silent on the isolated calls fro his return to the suffering Black Stars goalkeeping department.
"He will also [pass on] the experience he has to the younger once,” Damba explained in the interview with Citi FM.
Ghana used all three keepers available in the recent African Cup of Nations with neither regular number one, Razak Braimah or former mainstay Fatau Dauda able to hold down the role.
