Imoh’s hat-trick nails Anderlecht

Nigeria international striker, Ezekiel Imoh scored a brace on Sunday to help Standard Liege record a 3-1 win over Anderlecht in the Belgian play-Offs.
His first goal on 21 minutes was basically down to perfect timing, bravery and possession of cold-blooded instinct.
He timed his run to perfection, springing the Anderlecht offside trap with aplomb, before planting a firm header off a pinpoint Igor de Camargo cross past goalkeeper, Silvio Proto.
Thirteen minutes after the break, Imoh completed his brace with a fine effort at the second time of asking
The 21-year-old cut in from the left with frightening speed before unleashing a fierce drive with Proto doing well to beat out.
Imoh was however alert to latch on the rebound as he fired low and hard to temporarily give his side a 2-0 advantage.
He turned provider for teammate, Geofrey Mujangi Bia, three minutes later as his low cross was swept home to give the hosts a comfortable.
Imoh has not been in great form this season, going by his lofty standards as he had only previously scored in one other league game before Sunday’s win at Stade Maurice Dufrasne.
